Cosmic are installing 5no. active 22kW chargers - the fastest possible chargers in a domestic setting.
The installation will be located on the external wall of the boiler room plant room which is located on the south end of the driveway as it turns towards the squash / tennis court.
Whilst the relevant parking bays won’t be exclusively for EV drivers we do ask that wherever possible they are retained for cars seeking to charge.
This will be a shared amenity for the benefit of any resident or visitor at the property.
EV demand is growing significantly with c.30% of new cars sold each month in the UK now electric.
Charging at home is the cheapest and most convenient way to fuel these cars so it is imperative to have the infrastructure available.

We estimate 3-5 days.
The bays will be closed during this period.
Power supplies may be impacted for a very short period (c.30 minutes). This is yet to be determined and where is can be avoided we will do so.
Any impacts will be communicated in advance.
Charging at home is significantly cheaper than charging in public.
Cosmic apply a management fee to the energy supplied. This fee can be reduced for regular users who opt to pay a membership fee of £5 monthly. This typically makes sense if you recharge your car 3+ times a month.
Exact charging tariffs are TBC as we are awaiting the latest Landlord tariff information prior to configuring your tariff.
You have two options:
1) plug in, scan the Cosmic QR code on the charger and enter your payment details (using apple / google pay etc).
2) If you’re a regular user then consider ordered a Cosmic key fob. Once configured you can then simply tap your fob against the charger to activate your charge.

Works are due to commence on the 28th July and will last 3-5 days.
It can take up to a week from completion of works on site for the project to be commissioned and ‘go live’.
10.07.25 - the project has now been formally instructed. Contractors and materials are being ordered.
